Evelyn L. (Heath) Noone, 99, of Brockton, passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at her home in Brockton. She was the wife of the late Joseph R. Noone.
Born August 27, 1912 in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late William Heath and Leona (Mongeau) Heath. A lifelong Brockton resident she attended Brockton Schools and graduated from Quincy City Hospital School of Nursing.
Evelyn was a Nurse and had worked at Brockton Hospital, Visiting Nurse Association and retired from the Brockton VA Hospital in 1984.
Evelyn was very active in Pro-Life Groups and was a communicant of the Chapel of Our Savior at Westgate Mall and Our Lady of Lourdes Parish.
Evelyn enjoyed golf as she took up the game at the age of 65 and accomplished a Hole-In-One. Golf and bowling kept her young well into her 90's.
She enjoyed traveling extensively in Europe, Rome, Portugal, Ireland, Medjugorje, as well as the Holy Land.
She is survived by her children, Joseph J. Noone and his wife Anne of Shrewsbury, William H. Noone of Sanibel, FL, Laurence E. Noone of Sanibel, FL, Peter F. Noone of Boston and Susan M. Cleverly and her husband David of Punta Gorda, FL; her son-in-law, William Taylor of Silverhill, AL; she is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 21 Great-Grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Patricia Ann Noone and Nancy Taylor.

Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Wednesday, April 11th at 10:00AM thence to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 439 West St., Brockton where a funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of her soul at 11:00AM. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Brockton. Calling hours in the Russell Pica Funeral Home Tuesday 4:00-7:00PM.
