Evelyn M. Saba, 80, of Brockton, died peacefully Sunday, September 8, 2013 in Stoughton.
Born August 17, 1933 in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late John B. Saba and Wardi "Rose" (Yaghi) Saba. A lifelong Brockton resident, she graduated from Brockton High School.
Evelyn worked at Saba's Open Air Market and then with the Office of Registrar of Voters for the City of Brockton for several years.
Evelyn was very involved in St. Theresa Maronite Catholic Church in Brockton where she served as Sacristan, CCD Teacher and Lector. She was a member of The Altar Society and the National Apostolate of Maronites.
Evelyn devoted her life to her nieces and nephews and loved spending time with her family and her friends.
She is survived by her sister, Carol (Saba) Murray of Taunton and many loving nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Johnny, George, Fred, Michael, Peter, Paul and Philip Saba

Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Thursday at 9:00AMfollowed by a funeral mass St. Theresa Maronite Catholic Church, 343 North Main St., Brockton at 10:00AM, that will be celebrated by her nephew, Rev. John Murray. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Brockton. Calling hours in the Russell Pica Funeral Home Wednesday 5:00-8:00PM.
