Born December 15, 1959 in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of Monserrate Rodriguez and the late Pedro Segarra. Evelyn enjoyed the movies, flowers, sewing, drawing and baking. She is survived by her husband, Pedro M. Castro; her daughter, Alejandra Castro; her mother, Monserrate Rodriguez; her sister Isabel Viruet; her nieces, Janelle Viruet and Claudine Cordero; her nephew, Brendon Viruet; her aunts, Ada and Maria Rodriguez; also survived by several cousins.
