Wilkinson, of Harwich, formerly of Brockton, February 12, 2003, Evelyn C. (Meehan) Wilkinson, 100 years. Wife of the late Thomas E. Wilkinson, mother of Mary L. Carroll, Jane Delea and Thomas E. Wilkinson.

Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Saturday at 8am. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 9am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visiting Hours are omitted.

Obituary Information

Evelyn C. (Meehan) Wilkinson, 100 years, died at Cranberry Pointe Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center in Harwich, on February 12, 2003. Previously she had been a resident of Brockton for 93 years and a resident of Harwich for the past 7 years.

Born and raised in Brockton she was the daughter of the late Jeremiah and Nellie (Fitzgibbons) Meehan and was the wife of the late Thomas E. Wilkinson. She was educated in Brockton and was a graduate of Brockton High School. She had been a longtime communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Church. She was devoted to her family and grandchildren, enjoyed cooking, tole painting and was an avid reader.

She is survived by two daughters Mary L. Carroll of Brockton and Eastham and Jane Delea of Sandwich and one son Thomas E. Wilkinson of Abington. She also leaves 11 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late John and Thomas Meehan, Helen Edson, Margaret Kelleher and Mary “Molly” Mooney
