Obituary

Evelyn L. (Simpson) Youdis, age 94, of Brockton, died peacefully at her home February 8, 2013. She was the wife of the late Anthony Youdis. Lifelong of Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Mary (Hayes) Simpson. Evelyn had been employed for many years at the Berco Shoe Company. She was a fun loving person who enjoyed family gatherings, music, dancing and parties.
She is survived by her sisters Laverne McQuinn of Easton and Marilyn Kirker of Brockton and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Lawrence, Raymond, Ralph, Roy and Clayton Simpson and Lois Stevens. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Evelyn’s caretakers, her niece Kelli King and nephew Mark Kirker and his wife Carrie for all their loving care and support.
Visiting Hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Tuesday 3-6pm. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 10am. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, West Bridgewater.
