Evelyn M. (Iafrate) Zarrella Evelyn M. (Iafrate)Zarrella, 91, passed away Friday, November 6, 2015 at the West Acres Nursing Home in Brockton following a period of failing health. She was the loving wife of 50 years to the late Frank Zarrella. Born June 18, 1924 in Brockton she was the daughter of the late Serafino and Assunta (Vano) Iafrate. She was a lifelong resident of Brockton and a graduate of Brockton High School. Mrs. Zarrella was employed as a stitcher by for the former London Clothing Co., the former Garland Mills in Brockton, the former Randy Shoe in Randolph and retired from the former Bradlees Warehouse in Braintree. In her later years she also worked for Family Dollar. She loved to cook and spend time with her devoted family and also enjoyed to travel with her late husband Frank. She is survived by her children, Frank Zarrella and his fianc Paula Brown of Brockton, Francine Rickett and her husband Jack of Dayton, OH and Michael Zarrella and his wife Laurie of Brockton; seven grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren and a sister Flora (Iafrate) (Berglund) Pedro of Bridgewater. As well as several nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late James Zarrella and the sister of the late Joseph, Ralph and Mario Iafrate. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St.,(Rt.123) Brockton on Wednesday at 8:00AM thence to St. Edith Stein/St. Edward Parish, 71 East Main St., Brockton where a funeral Mass will be celebrated for the repose of her soul at 9:00AM. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Brockton. Calling hours Tuesday 4:00 to 7:00PM.
