Online Obituaries Fabiola J. Pomar, 83, of Brockton, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2013 at St. Joseph Manor in Brockton. She was the beloved wife of Rufino Pomar. Born August 16, 1929 in Lima, Peru, she was the daughter of the late Juan Carlos and Micaela (Zatta) Holsen. Fabiola emigrated to the U.S. in 1969 from Lima, Peru with her 5 sons to join their father who came to the U.S. in 1968. Fabiola and Rufino settled in the Campello section of Brockton where they raised their 5 sons. She worked at Garland Mills and St. Joseph Manor Nursing Home. She was a parishioner of St. Patrick Church in Brockton. She is survived by her loving husband Rufino Pomar; adored mother and mother in law of David R. Pomar and Mary Lou of Brockton, Miguel A. Pomar and Debra of Weymouth, Jose L. Pomar, Sr., and Ann Marie of Brockton, Ruben D. Pomar and Denise of West Palm Beach, FL and Julio C. Pomar and Theresa of Brockton. She was the loving grandmother to 12 and great-grandmother of 10. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral Information A Funeral Mass will be held for the repose of her soul on Tuesday, April 9th at St. Patrick Church, 335 Main St., Brockton at 9:00AM.
