Obituary

Felicita Torres, 78 years, of Brockton, died Saturday, November 6, 2010 at Signature Healthcare, Brockton Hospital. She was the wife of the late Juan Torres. Born in Ciales, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of Nazario Sostre and Maria Morales. Felicita was raised in Puerto Rico, moved to Dorchester in 1976, and had been a resident of Brockton since 1991. She was a loving, caring mother who loved to spend time with her family. She also loved to cook, garden, shop and take long walks.

Felicita was the mother of Jose Torres, Louis Torres, Carmen Torres, Angel Rafael, Ana Torres, Angel Manual Torres, Juan A. Torres, Orlando Torres, Pedro Torres, Maria Torres, Miguel Torres and the late Maxima Torres; sister of Edwin, Rosa and Gelo. She is also survived by 35 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Friday at 9am. Funeral Mass in St. Patrick Church at 10am. Burial in Melrose Cemetery. Visiting Hours Thursday 6-9pm.
