Fernando C. Colon, 81, of Brockton, passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton after a period of failing health. He was the husband of the late Nereida (Soto) Colon.
Born May 30, 1936 in Barranquitas, Puerto Rico, he was a son of the late Pablo Colon and Sofia Colon.
He is survived by his nephew, Joseph Miro and his wife Olga. He was the father of the late David I. Colon. Complete obituary to follow.

Following cremation, burial will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery, Boston on a date and time to be announced.
