Online Obituaries Filomena Dominguez, 87, of Brockton formerly of Puerto Rico, died Saturday September 7, 2013 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Manati P.R. on August 23, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Lino Dominguez and Rosalia Rodriguez. She resided in Puerto Rico for most of her life, and in Brockton for over 35 years. A woman of strong Catholic faith, she was a parishioner of St. Patrick Church. She enjoyed traveling, loved to cook and garden but above all, she loved to gather with family and friends. She is survived by two daughters, Marcelina Serpa of Puerto Rico and Gloria Marrero of Brockton; seven sons, Angel Luis Serpa and Victor Marrero of Puerto Rico and Manuel, Efrain, Roberto, Eduardo and Reinaldo Marrero all of Brockton and ten stepchildren. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, nine great great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt.123) Brockton on Wednesday, September 11th at 8:00AM thence to St. Patrick Church, 335 Main St., Brockton where a funeral Mass will be celebrated for the repose of her soul at 9:00AM.
