Obituary

Florence L. “Flossie” Crowell age 99 of Holbrook died Thursday March 15, 2012 at the Guardian Center in Brockton after a brief illness. She was born and raised in Brockton a daughter of the late Almond and Josephine (Raymond) Crowell and moved to Holbrook in 1954.
Before her retirement Florence had been employed for 45 years by the former W.T. Grant Company as a saleslady in the Brockton and later Randolph stores. She had been a longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Brockton and its bowling league.
Florence was the aunt of Warren R. Crowell, Jr. of Texas, Lorraine McGunnigle of California and the late James H. Crowell and Edward F. Roberts, Jr. She also leaves several great nieces and nephews. Florence was the sister of the late Warren R. Crowell, Roy Crowell, Harold “Lefty” Crowell and Alice J. Roberts.
A graveside service will be held in Melrose Cemetery, 88 No. Pearl Street (use north gate) on Thursday March 22, 2012 at 11am. Visiting hours are omitted.
