Fortunato Resende Fortunato Resende , 51, of Brockton, died unexpectedly, Saturday, June 7, 2008 at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. Born June 18, 1956 in Fogo, Cape Verde, he was the son of Jose Santos Resende and Arcinda Gomes. He is also survived by his children, Camindo, Calmindo, Jesuino, Jose, Luvia, and Lucinda Resende; he is also survived by four brothers and six sisters. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt 123) Brockton Saturday, June 14th, at 9:00AM followed by a funeral mass in St. Edith Stein/St. Edward Parish, 71 East Main St., Brockton at 10:00AM.
