Online Obituaries Frances A. Cloonan, 83, of Halifax, died on Friday, November 22, 2013 following complications from a stroke. Fran will be missed by her many friends at the Halifax Mobile Home Estates where she lived for many years. She was retired from New England Telephone, Quinn Freight Lines, and the Department of Public Welfare. An avid sports fan, Fran loved the Red Sox and the Patriots, and she enjoyed playing cards with her many friends. Prior to her death, Fran was a beloved companion to Gerald Jacobs. She was predeceased by her only son, Kevin, in 1978. Funeral Information Burial will be private, as Fran requested.
