Frances J. (Barry) Flynn, 88, of Brockton, passed away Sunday, March 2, 2025, at her home in Brockton under the care of her family and hospice. She was the wife of the late John F. Flynn.

Born on March 8, 1936, in Boston, Frances was the daughter of the late John M. and Frances Osmond (Burns) Barry. She graduated from Jeremiah E. Burke High School in Dorchester and took classes at several Massachusetts Colleges.

Frances worked as a hostess at Christos for over 25 years, as a bank teller, a daycare teacher, and as a cashier at Walmart.

She was very involved in her church and loved to read. Frances enjoyed meeting new people and was never too busy to stop and talk to someone.

Frances is survived by her three daughters Frances Flynn-Smith, Christina Flynn, Darlene Wallace, her granddaughter Maya Wallace, her son-in-law Barry Smith and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be private.
