Frances “Fefe” A. Iannantuoni (Cappola), a cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully at home in hospice care on June 1, 2026, in Brockton, Massachusetts. She was 94 years old. Born on July 22, 1931, in Quincy, Massachusetts, Frances was raised and educated in Rockland. She was the daughter of the late Antonio and Teresa Cappola. Frances was predeceased by her beloved husband, Leo Iannantuoni, her siblings: Salvatore Cappola, William Cappola, Mary Levorce, and Gloria D’olimpia, and son-in-law Michael Pigeon. After graduating from Rockland High School in 1948 she worked at New England Telephone and Telegraph Company and later went on to assist her husband as he founded and operated Leo's Landscape Nursery Inc. in West Bridgewater. The company thrived for over 60 years under their dedication. Together they built a beautiful life centered on family and hard work. A talented musician with a passion for the accordion and organ, Frances brought joy to those around her through music. She had an enduring love for cooking and baking and her culinary creations were a source of comfort and connection for her family and friends. Frances also had a creative spirit and a passion for fashion; she loved to travel and explore the world with her husband. She was extremely generous to her family, friends, and those in need and held strongly to her Catholic faith and her relationship with God. Above all else, Frances was a devoted mother of five children: Lenard Iannantuoni (and partner Annie Chase) of Maine, Thresa Pigeon (and late beloved husband Michael) of Lakeville, David Iannantuoni (and wife Shona) of Brockton, Lori Packard (and husband Paul) of Brockton, and Michael Iannantuoni of Taunton. She is also survived by her cherished sister Toni Gummow (and husband Donald). She took immense pride in her role as a grandmother to Richard Easton and Nicole Murphy (and husband Ryan) and as a great-grandmother to Charlotte Murphy. Frances’ legacy is one of love, resilience, and dedication to family. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her. Visitation will be held at the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St, Brockton, on Wednesday June 10th from 10:30am - 12:30pm, Funeral service to follow. Burial at Pine Hill Cemetery, West Bridgewater. In lieu of flowers, her family requests that donations be made in Frances's memory to: Wounded Warrior Project or the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
