Frances Ruth Pancyck

Frances Ruth Pancyck (Hamilton) age 80, of Brockton, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on July 25, 2026, at Boston Medical Center – South, after a period of declining health. She was the loving wife of James L. Pancyck, Sr. (Ret. Brockton P.D.)

Born and raised in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Helen (Ahl) Hamilton.

Fran graduated from Cardinal Spellman High School. She worked as an office manager for the Massachusetts Trial Court Clerk’s Office at the Brockton District Court for many years prior to retiring.

She was known for being kind, upbeat, and always having a positive outlook. Frances was very family oriented and will be remembered for being a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She also loved sports, especially the Boston Celtics, Boston Red Sox, and the New England Patriots.

Besides her husband, she leaves her children, James L. Pancyck, Jr. and his wife, Christine of Taunton, Erik Pancyck of Fall River, Christine Pancyck of Brockton, and Jessica Dasilva and her husband, Christopher of Wilmington; a brother James Hamilton; two sisters, Joyce Cunha, and Ann Fine; five grandchildren, Jaley Fine, Ahnika DeGrace, Ryan Shea, Alexander Pancyck, and Evan Pancyck; and two great grandchildren, Lion Shea and Lucy Shea. She was the sister of the late Mary Dunnington, Jean MacConnell, and Faith Foley.

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to visit with Frances’ family on Monday, August 10, 2026, from 10am to 12pm, in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte. 123) Brockton.
