Cunningham, of Brockton, July 13, 2002, Francis E. Cunningham, 72 years. Husband of Ottilie M. (Schuberth) Cunningham, father of Angelika “Gail” Eldridge and her husband Wayne. Grandfather of Melissa A., James B. and Michael F. Eldridge. Brother of Patricia Dalton, and her husband Martin.

Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Tuesday at 8am. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 9am. Burial in Melrose Cemetery. Visiting Hours Monday 4-8pm.

Obituary

Mr. Cunningham, died Saturday at his home after a lengthy illness. He was born and raised in Brockton, son of the late Mary Fowler. He was a graduate of St. Patrick School. He was a veteran of WWII serving in the US Army in Germany. In 1952 he returned to Brockton and was employed as a manager in Sears Roebuck in Norwell for 15 years, AMSCO Medical Supply in Canton and retired from the Brockton Hospital in 1991 as the manager of the Safety and Maintenance Department. He enjoyed crossword puzzles, picture puzzles, bowling and traveling. He was a former member of the BC Bowling League.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years Ottilie M. (Schuberth) Cunningham, 1 daughter Angelika “Gail” Eldridge, 3 grandchildren, a sister Patricia Dalton, and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Arthur Sedani, and Regina Cohick.
