Obituary

Francis A. “Fran” Chartier, Jr., 53 years of E. Falmouth, died February 19, 2009 after a lengthy illness. Loving husband of Kathleen A. (Twomey) Chartier. He was raised in Middleboro, the son of the late Francis A., Sr., and Rita (Lynch) Chartier. He had been employed by Electrolux Corporation as a manager for 14 years. Fran was a member of the Masons St. George Lodge A.F. & A.M. and the Elks of Hyannis. Fran enjoyed boats, fishing, hunting and cars.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Melissa Forfar and her husband Elton, Anastacia D’Agostino and her husband Patrick and Elizabeth “Beth” Chartier and her fiancé Jason Grier, three grandchildren, Lillian, Kennedy and Zoe, three sisters, Lela Rhodes, Judith Somers and Diane Nickerson, four brothers, Richard and Robert Benson, Edward and Ronald Chartier. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Wednesday at 9:30am. Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, 340 Centre St., Middleboro at 11am. Burial in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8pm with the Masons Service at 6pm.
