Francis "Frank" R. Michienzi, 78, of West Bridgewater, passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. He was the loving husband of Maryann T. (Goodin) Michienzi.
Born November 10, 1944 in Brockton, he was the son of the late Pasquale Michienzi and Lena (Castagna) Michienzi. Raised in Brockton he attended Brockton Schools and graduated from Brockton High School. Frank then served in the Army National Guard from 1964-1970.
Frank was a Meat Manager for Roche Brothers Market in Bridgewater for several years. He enjoyed trips to Cape Cod, playing poker and was an avid Boston Red Sox fan. His most favorite thing to do was spend time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Maryann T. (Goodin) Michienzi; his children, Frank P. Michienzi and his wife Tracey and Gina M. Ford and her husband Michael; his grandchildren, Lily F. Ford, Jack R. Ford and Michael J. Michienzi; his sister Mary Michienzi. He was the brother of the late Patricia McCarthy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 441 South Main St., (Rt28) West Bridgewater on Thursday, January 12th at 9:00AM thence to St. Ann Church, 103 North Main St., West Bridgewater where a funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of his soul at 10:00AM. Interment will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery in West Bridgewater. Calling hours in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4:00PM-8:00PM.
