Francisca Resende Francisca Resende , 51, of Brockton, died Thursday, April 3, 2008 at her home in Brockton under the care of her family and hospice. Born February 20, 1957 in Fogo, Cape Verde she was the daughter of Maria Resende and the late Francisco Resende. Mrs. Resende came to the United States 17 years ago and was a Machine Operator for Churchill Linen Company for several years. She enjoyed exercising, jogging, and traveling. She is survived by her children, Maria Resende, Deila Moeda, Decio Moeda, Dery Moeda, and the late Humberto Resende; her mother, Maria Resende; her sisters and brothers, Fatima, Ruth, Luis, Edilia, Tete, Padro, Celestino, and Joaquina Resende; she is also survived by 8 grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Tuesday, April 8th at 9:00AM followed by a funeral mass in St. Edith Stein/St Edward Parish, 71 East Main St., Brockton at 10:00AM.
