Francisco G. Monteiro Francisco Gomes Monteiro, 89, of Brockton, passed away Thursday, June 24, 2010 at his home in Brockton. He was the husband of Domingas R. (Rodrigues) Monteiro. Born December 28, 1920 in Fogo, Cape Verde, he was the son of the late Antonio Monteiro and Felismina Gomes. Mr. Monteiro worked in a factory for several years and enjoyed playing cards. He is survived by his children, Antonio G. Monteiro, Jose F. Monteiro, Jose G. Monteiro, Alfredo G. Monteiro and Amarilis G. Rodrigues. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers, 2 sisters and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., Brockton on Monday, June 28th at 9:30AM followed by a funeral mass in St. Edith Stein/ St. Edward Parish, 71 East Main St., Brockton at 10:30AM.
