Rivera of Brockton, August 18, 2003, Francisco “Mipa” Rivera, Jr. 39 years. Son of Aida Segui, brother of Pablo, Lucy and Gladys Rivera, partner of Luis Martinez and close friend of Carmen Vazquez. Also survived by many good friends.

Funeral Service in the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Friday at 11 am. Visitation from 10 to 11 am. Burial in Melrose Cemetery.

Obituary

Francisco Rivera died Monday unexpectedly at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston. He was born and raised in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. Son of Aida Segui and the late Francisco Rivera Beltran. He had been a resident of Brockton for the past 20 years. He was known in the Spanish Community as a translator and volunteered at various soup kitchens in Brockton.

He is survived by his mother, Aida Segui of Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, a brother Pablo, and 2 sisters, Lucy Rivera and Gladys Rivera all of Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. His partner Luis Martinez of Brockton, a close friend Carmen Vazquez of Brockton and many nieces, nephews and good friends
