Frank J. Czarnowski, Jr., 78, of Brockton passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at his home under the care of hospice and his family. He was the husband of Geraldine "Gerry" L. Czarnowski.

Born in Cambridge on October 14, 1944, he was the son of the late Francis J. Czarnowski, Sr. and Elizabeth (O'Brien) Czarnowski. He graduated from Cambridge Rindge in the class of 1963. Following high school, Frank joined the United States Marine Corp, serving in Vietnam.

Frank spent many years as a mail handler for the United States Postal Service before retiring.

He enjoyed golf, football, and camping, and was a member of the VFW, Bertocci Memorial Club and DW Field Golf Course.

In addition to his wife Gerry, Frank is survived by his children Frank Czarnowski of the Brockton Police Department and his companion Rosa, Diane Amelotte and Mark Czarnowski and his wife Renee; his grandchildren Tyler Czarnowski, Brittney Czarnowski, Lillyann Czarnowski, Dylan Morris and Matthew Amelotte; and his brother Steve Czarnowski. Frank is predeceased by his sisters the late Ann Flaherty and Karen Ford.

Funeral from the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt.123) Brockton on Monday, December 19th at 10:00 AM thence to St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 103 Center St., Bridgewater where a mass will be held for the repose of his soul at 11:30 AM. Interment in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne at 2:00 PM. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, December 18th from 12:00-4:00 PM in the funeral home.
