Frank M. DeChristopher, 88, of Brockton, passed away Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. He was the husband of the late Beatrice A. (Fisher) DeChristopher.
Born September 8, 1925 in Brockton, he was the son of the late Florindo and Sophie DeChristopher. Raised in Brockton, he attended Brockton Schools until serving in the United States Army during World War II where he received the Bronze Star.
Frank was a retired Lieutenant for the Brockton Police Department. He was the Brockton Police Prosecutor for his last 15 years on the force after serving a total of 34 years with the department.
He is survived by his son, Vinnie DeChristopher of Brockton; his grandsons, Adam DeChristopher and his wife Becca of Hingham and Mike DeChristopher and his wife Erin of Brockton; his great-grandchildren, Andrew, Lyza, Jameson and Molly; his dear friend, Fran DeChristopher.

Funeral from the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Wednesday, Sept. 3rd at 8:00AM thence to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 439 West St., Brockton where a funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of his soul at 9:00AM. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Brockton. Calling hours in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home Tuesday 5:00-8:00PM.
