Obituary

Frank A. Roscoe, age 84 of Brockton, died Tuesday night January 3, 2017 at his home after a lengthy illness. He was the devoted husband of Catherine (Schenck) (Campbell) Roscoe. Frank, the son of the late Francesco and Dorothy (Golden) Roscoe, was born and raised in Dedham. For the past 54 years, Frank had been a resident of Brockton.
A graduate of Boston Trade School, Frank also earned a teaching certificate from Boston State College. During the Korean War, Frank served in the US Army and was stationed in Germany.
Frank was a sales representative for Snap-On-Tools for 26 years and retired in 1992. For the past 12 years, he worked for Copeland Toyota in the parts department.
Frank loved flying and was a licensed private pilot. He was a member of the EAA (Experimental Aircraft Association) in Mansfield and the Quiet Birdmen, a national organization of pilots. He was very proud of earning his instrument license for flying. Frank also enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.
A kind, caring, giving man, Frank loved his family most of all. He enjoyed being with his friends and telling his infamous jokes. He was a member of Christ the King choir where he played the bongos.

Frank was the father of Steven Roscoe and his wife Kathleen of Brockton; Susan Roscoe of Easton and step-father of Richard Campbell and his wife Andrea of Reading, MA. He leaves three grandchildren Jennifer Roscoe, Liam and Cole Campbell, and a great grandson Cameron Andrews. He was the brother of Jacqueline Manganiello of Wrentham and the late John Roscoe. He also leaves an uncle William Golden, a brother-in-law James Morrissey, and a sister-in-law Barbara Toohey. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (rte. 123) Brockton on Sunday 2-6 pm. The procession will gather at the funeral home on Monday 9am for a funeral Mass in Christ the King Church at 10am. Burial will follow in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
