Online Obituaries Frank A. Viola, 57, of East Sandwich, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at the Cape Cod Hospital. He was the husband of Kathleen (Kelleher) Viola. Born September 12, 1955 in Brockton, he was the son of the late Frank Viola and Angelina (D'Alba) Viola. Raised in Brockton, Frank graduated from Brockton High School. Frank worked for South Shore Wholesale Food Distributors for several years. He coached Brockton Youth Hockey, Sandwich Little League and Canal Youth Hockey. He also played in Cape Softball and Hockey Leagues. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Kathryn Konomi; a son, Frank Viola; a grandson, Christian Konomi; a sister, Rosemarie Hale; two brothers, Jack and Nicholas Viola; and several nieces and nephews, including Lisa Viola. Funeral Information A Memorial Gathering will be held in the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., Brockton on Saturday, July 27th from 3:00-4:00PM followed by a prayer service at 4:00PM.
