Ford of Brockton formerly of Woburn January 23, 2004 Frederick J. Ford 97 years. Husband of the late Helen M. (Collins) Ford. Father of the late Helen M. Rose. Grandfather of Catherine M. Rose of Brockton. Brother of Dorothy Kelley of Malden and the late Betty Knott and Arthur Ford. Father-in-law of Joe Rose of Florida.

Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Monday at 9 am. Funeral Mass in St. Colman Church at 10 am. Burial at a later date in Calvary Cemetery, Woburn. Visiting hours Sunday 2-6 pm. In lieu of flowers donations in Fred’s memory may be made to Hospice of Greater Brockton 500 Belmont St. Brockton, MA 02301.

Obituary

Mr. Ford died Friday morning at Copley of Stoughton after a period of failing health.He was born and raised in Somerville, son of the late Arthur and Elizabeth (French) Ford. He had been a resident of Brockton for the past 15 years. Previously he had lived in Woburn for many years.

Before his retirement Mr. Ford was a self employed print salesman.

He enjoyed gardening and horse races.
