Frederick Hebshie, 98, of Brockton, passed away on Friday, August 25, 2023 after a brief illness. He was the husband of Estelle (Chitopoulos) Hebshie.

Born January 28, 1925 in Brockton, he was the son of the late Frahat Hebshie and Josephine (Rafoul) Hebshie. A lifelong Brockton resident, he graduated from Brockton High School.

Fred owned and operated Hebshie Real Estate in Brockton for several years.

Fred was a longtime member of the YMCA where he enjoyed exercising and swimming. He also loved summers on Cape Cod.

He is survived by his wife, Estelle (Chitopoulos) Hebshie; his children, Linda Mihos and her husband James, Fred Hebshie and Karen Bishop; his grandchildren, Marissa Mihos and Peter Mihos; great grandfather of Lily. He was the grandfather of the late Christina M. Mihos and brother of the late James Hebshie, Sam Hebshie, Alma Hinglebine, Mary Ball, Lila Shaker, Barbara Daly, Helen Henry, John Hebshie, Ed Hebshie and Nancy Dastous. Also, survived by several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., Brockton on Tuesday, September 12th at 11:00AM. Interment will follow in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton. Calling hours in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home on Monday, September 11th from 4:00PM-7:00PM. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Fred's memory to his late granddaughter's fund, Christina M.
