Palmer, of West Bridgewater, May 8, 2007, Frederick V. Palmer, 86 years. Beloved husband of Teresa M. (Spadea) Palmer. Loving father of Frederick V. Palmer, Jr. and Cheryl A. Smith of W. Bridgewater; grandfather of Fred Palmer, III, Shawn Palmer and Teresa Damiano; great grandfather of Brittany and Justin Palmer and Gianna Damiano.

Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Saturday at 9am. Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, W. Bridgewater at 10am. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery. Frederick V. Palmer, 86 years died Tuesday evening at Brockton Hospital after a brief illness. Born, raised and educated in Quincy, he was a son of the late Caleb M. and Edith W. (Wood) Palmer. He had been a resident of West Bridgewater for the past 17 years, previously living in Brockton for 44 years. Mr. Palmer was a WWII Army veteran who served with the 534th Amphibious Engineers in the Pacific Theatre. He was the proprietor for over 40 years of the P and T Company, Inc. in Brockton and T and P Realty in Brockton for five years. He was an avid Red Sox and Patriot fan, loved his home and pets and enjoyed his daily lunch with his son in law at George’s Café.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years Teresa M. (Spadea) Palmer, one son Frederick V. Palmer, Jr. of Lakeville; one daughter Cheryl A. Smith of W. Bridgewater; three grandchildren Fred Palmer, III, Shawn Palmer and Teresa Damiano; three great grandchildren Brittany and Justin Palmer and Gianna Damiano; several nieces and nephews and one sister Gladys Bradford of Florida. He was the brother of the late Charles Palmer, Richard Palmer and Caleb Palmer, Jr.
