Online Obituaries Gail M. Doherty, 70, of Brockton, passed away Sunday, January 25, 2015 at the West Acres Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center in Brockton. Born November 22, 1944 in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph E. Doherty and Elizabeth M. (Kelliher) Doherty and the sister of the late Elizabeth 'Betty' A. Doherty. A lifelong Brockton resident she graduated from Brockton High School in 1962. Gail was employed as a Payroll Associate for 11 years with Wigs by Paula in Brockton. She had previously worked for Taymor Shoe and King Size as a Payroll Supervisor. Gail was a communicant of Community Covenant Church, East Bridgewater. Gail had a fond love of animals, specifically cats and enjoyed knitting. She enjoyed getting together with her previous co-workers and friends and looked forward to the times when they would go out to eat and reminisce She is survived by several cousins including Patricia ODonnell and Edward Spillane and their families as well as many special friends who became her extended family. Funeral Information Calling hours will be held in the Community Covenant Church, 400 Pleasant St., East Bridgewater on Friday, January 30th from 10:00-11:00AM followed by a funeral service at 11:00AM. Interment will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery, West Bridgewater.
