Online Obituaries Gail L. (Paananen) Loughlin, 71, of Brockton, passed away Sunday, September 29, 2013 at the Southeast Rehabilitation in Easton after a period of failing health. She was the wife of Thomas J. Loughlin. Born June 19, 1942 in Brockton she was a daughter of Glenna L. (Tucker) Paananen and the late Leo O. Paananen. Raised and educated in Brockton, Gail was a graduate of Brockton High School. She received her Associates Degree from Bay State College. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and also was an avid quilter. Most of all she loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. In addition to her husband Thomas and her mother Glenna she is survived by her children, Karen A. Tagliaferri and her husband Bob of Conway, NH, Thomas L. Loughlin and his girlfriend Lisa Mueller of Bedford, and Kristen A. Hayes and her husband Tom of Brockton; her loving grandchildren, Nicholas, Jake, Jenna and Mark; her siblings, MaryLou Durdan, Thomas L. Paananen, John D. Paananen and Charles G. Paananen. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 3rd at 10:00AM in the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton. Interment will follow in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton. Calling hours in the Russell Pica Funeral Home Wednesday from 4:00-8:00PM.
