Gail A. (Pettengill) Shirosky, of Brockton, passed away peacefully on August 18, 2023 at the age of 81 after a long fought illness.

Born and raised in West Bridgewater, Gail graduated from West Bridgewater High School in 1960. After graduation, she worked at Knapp Shoes. She met her husband Richard on a blind date, married, raised their 3 children and owned North River Communications in Hanover until his passing in 1998. She was a member of the Order of The Eastern Stars for 50 years. She was a long-time member of Cochesett United Methodist Church in West Bridgewater and an avid supporter of St. Jude.

Gail was the wife of the late Richard F. Shirosky of Brockton for 35 years. Daughter of the late Charles and Clara (Perry) Pettengill of West Bridgewater. She is survived by her loving and best friend sister Carolyn Pettengill of Brockton. Her children, Jeffrey Shirosky and late wife Kimberly (Martin) of West Bridgewater, Sheri and husband Mark Queenan of Holbrook, and Joanne and husband Ronald Barrett of Brockton. Her beloved grandchildren Jillian Shirosky, Colin Queenan, Conner Queenan and great-grandson Alex Ortiz. Brother-in-law Ronald Shirosky and late wife Ann of Attleboro. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A celebration of Gail's life will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2023 from 12:00PM-2:00PM in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 441 S. Main St., West Bridgewater.
