George Barbas, 50, of Brockton, passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2024.

Born in Stoughton on August 18, 1973, he was the son of Haido (Papagiotopoulos) Barbas and the late Vasilios Barbas; and brother of Chris Barbas and his late wife Tracy (Harrington) Barbas. Raised in Brockton, he was a 1991 graduate of Brockton High School. He earned a degree in accounting from Suffolk University.

George loved visiting family in Greece, and spending time with his family.

A Funeral Service will be held in the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 457 Oak St., Brockton on Thursday, July 18th at 11:00AM. Interment will follow in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton. Calling hours in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Wednesday, July 17th from 4:00PM-7:00PM.
