George F. Jolly George Frederick Jolly, 65, of Brockton, died Thursday, August 7, 2008 at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. He was the husband of Jean P. McQuaide-Jolly of Brockton. Born December 12, 1942 in Biloxi, Mississippi, he was the son of the late George Jolly and Alice (Waddington) Durand. Mr. Jolly served two tours of duty in the United States Marine Corp during Vietnam. George was an Executive Driver for Fidelity Investments for 13 years. He enjoyed repairing cars and has been a Brockton resident for the last 15 years. He is survived by his wife, Jean P. McQuaide-Jolly of Brockton; his children, Christopher Jolly and his wife Donna of Acushnet, Heidi Ann Silvia and her husband Todd of Tiverton, Rhode Island, Robert Jolly and his wife Lauren of Spring Hill, Florida, and Mark Jolly and his wife Josephine of Tewksbury; his grandchildren, Christopher, Jr., Lindsay, Sydney, Brandon, Dominic, and Nathan; his brother, Paul Durand and his wife Cathy of Rhode Island; his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Helen and Robert Parsons; his nephews, Paul Durand, Jr., Timmy Durand, and Robert Parsons, Jr. Funeral Information Following cremation, a memorial gathering will be held in the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30AM thence to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 433 West St., Brockton where a funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of his soul at 11:00AM.
