George-Levi Njuguna, 11, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 while playing basketball.
George-levi Muturi Njuguna, an 11-year-old individual, unexpectedly passed away on Tuesday, October 1st, 2024. He is survived by his brother, Asriel Njuguna, and his parents, Rose Mwangi and Philip Muturi. Additionally, he is survived by his grandparents, the late George Muturi Githua, Milka Muturi, David Mwangi, and Mary Muraya. He had numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, and nieces, and he cultivated friendships with individuals of all ages.
Born on August 1, 2013, in Brockton, Massachusetts, George-levi attended Trinity Academy, Mary E. Baker Elementary, Angelo Elementary, and North Middle School from 2017 to 2024.
George-levi demonstrated a fervent passion for basketball and excelled academically. He was also recognized as a champion of peace.
George -Levi Muturi Njuguna our dear beloved son when you came to us you brought life and joy from the beginning of time we felt you in our hands, nurtured you to grow up being loved by God and people. Your smile exemplified joy where there was hate and miscord. You brought true happiness to our family, your school, the church and the community. The people around wish that you could wake up so they would see the love you had for them. And it is this love that I gave you and you gave to the world. We are proud of your academic achievements, and sportsmanship above all the talent that you had.
Thank you for the young man you were and the big brother you were to Asriel. Heaven is rejoicing to have you. We will cherish you for life. We love you and always will. Fare thee our beloved son.
Calling hours in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 17 Main St., (RT105) LAKEVILLE on Friday, October 11th from 5:00-8:00PM.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday from 9:00-11:30AM in the Crossroads Worship Center, 241 Broad St., Weymouth. Interment will follow in St. James Cemetery, Whitman.
