George F. Mosley, 88, of Middleboro, passed away on Friday, September 13, 2024 in Largo, Florida.

Born in Cambridge on October 16, 1935, he was the son of the late Thomas G. and Bridget (Toal) Mosley; and brother of the late Mary R. Bolia, Kathleen Mosley, John D. Mosley, and Thomas J. Mosley.

George was a 1967 graduate of the Stockbridge College of Agriculture at UMass Amherst and worked as a Field Inspector for the United States Department of Agriculture.

He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Southeastern Massachusetts Democratic Committee, and the National Association of Retired Federal Employees.

Best known as "Uncle George" and "Mr. Mo", George is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

The wake is scheduled on Sunday, September 22nd from 2PM to 5PM at Russell & Pica Funeral Home located at 17 Main St., (Rt105) Lakeville. On Monday, September 23rd at 9:00AM the funeral will start at Russell & Pica Funeral Home located at 17 Main St., (Rt105) Lakeville, thence to St. Isidore Parish/Sacred Heart Church, 340 Center St., Middleboro where a funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of his soul at 10:00AM. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Middleboro.
