Online Obituaries George Arthur Peters, 92, passed away at home on Tuesday, February 14, 2017. George was born in Chicago, IL to Arthur and Theano Peters. He married Anna Peters and they shared nearly 60 years together. He was an Army Air Force veteran of World War II. George was a real estate entrepreneur owning both commercial and residential property in Brockton. He was self educated in addition to attending Wentworth Institute and loved researching and investing in the stock market. He and his wife, Anna, traveled extensively throughout the world and enjoyed summering at their home on Cape Cod with family. George was Albanian, Orthodox and was an active member of St. George's Cathedral in South Boston. George is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Theresa Chani. George was proud of his family and devoted to their success and well being. He will never be forgotten and forever missed. He is survived by his wife, Anna Peters and his sons, Jeffery Peters and wife Amy Peters, Gregory Peters, daughter, Susan Severin and husband John Severin, his sister Julia Melovano and his precious grandchildren, Courtney Peters, Cody Peters, Hannah Severin, Andrew Severin, Matthew Peters, Bella Peters, Nicolas Peters and his niece Joan Ryan. Funeral Information A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 3, 2017 at 11:00AM in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St.,(Rt.123) Brockton with Father Arthur Liolin of St. George's Cathedral officiating. Interment with Military Honors will follow in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton. Calling hours will be on Thursday from 4:00 ~ 7:00PM.
