George W. Sargood, Jr. George W. Sargood, Jr. , 59, of Taunton and formerly of Brockton, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at his home. Born August 23, 1951 in Brockton, he was the beloved son of the late George W. Sargood and Marilyn (Stewart) Sargood. George loved to putter and fix things, paint and fish in his spare time. He worked at the Brockton Area Arc/Shoe City for the past 10 years on the yard crew. He is remembered and loved by many friends. Funeral Information Following Cremation, a Memorial Service will be held in the Russell Pica Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 23rd from 5:00-7:00PM.
