Georgia I. (Strong) Hilliard, 78, passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at the Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital. She was the wife of Robert Hilliard. Born on March 3, 1942 in Huntsville, Alabama she was the daughter of the late George and Ellen (Pruitt) Strong. She was a 1960 graduate of Brockton High School. Georgia enjoyed cooking and shopping and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband Robert, Georgia is survived by her children Traci Jennings, Erik Hilliard and his wife Kristen and Susan Hilliard; her grandchildren Devon Jennings, Robert Jennings, Alexandra Hilliard, Gregory Hilliard, Jessica Hilliard, Erik Hilliard and Shane Muzzy; 5 great-grandchildren; and siblings Robert Strong of Florida, Earl Strong of Massachusetts, Jeannette Strong Patterson of Texas and Theresa Strong Ward of Texas. She was also the sister of the late James Strong. Georgia loved her family, far and near with all her heart. Funeral services are private.
