Obituary

Geraldine K. (Marchand) Porter, 86 years, of Middleboro, formerly of Brockton, Easton and Falmouth, died December 12, 2010 at the Golden Living Center-Oak Hill in Middleboro. She was the beloved wife for 51 years of the late Donald D. Porter, Sr. Born, raised and educated in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Fannie (Taylor) Marchand. Geraldine was an avid golfer and also enjoyed painting, bowling, walking and riding her bike.

Geraldine is survived by her children Donald, Jr. and his wife Carol of Duxbury, James and his wife Faith of Easton, John and his wife Shelley of Leawood, KS, Jeffrey and his wife Collette Carlson of Pelham, NH, Janet Theroux and her husband Wayne of East Falmouth and Jack Porter of West Virginia; 15 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Judith A. Moniz. Private family services will be held followed by burial in Calvary Cemetery.
