Obituary

Gessie M. Delva 55 years of Brockton died Sunday July 26, 2009 following a short illness in the Good Samaritan Medical Center. Mrs Delva was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti and was the daughter of the late Antoine Lucien and Andree (Baguidy) Delva.

Gessie will be remembered as a loving and generous person whose first priority was her devotion to her family and friends; but most of all her only son Jude who was the center in her life.

In addition to her son Jude Antoine Belizaire, she is survived by her companion Serge Belizaire both of Brockton; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, Renald, Sebastien, Sandie, Gaetchens; her sister Mrs Roselyne Delva Mazile and her husband Reginald; her brother Henri Delva; as well as her extended family; Baguidy , Belizaire , Delva ,Vendryes, Mazile, Najac ,Day , Posy, Désir ,Laguerre ,Pamphile,Gaubert,Agnant , Mars, Jean-Félix, Lesperance , Dimanche, Pierre , Fanfan.

Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (Rte 138) Brockton Saturday at 8 am. Funeral Mass in Christ The King Parish , 42 Wendell Ave, Brockton, at 9am. Visitation and family Vigil Friday August 7, 2009 from 6-9 pm in the Conley Funeral Home.
