Obituary

Gino Murphy, age 75, of Brockton, passed away on March 13, 2022 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center, in Brockton. He was the husband of the late Lillie Murphy.

Born in Lewiston, NC, he was the son of the late James Murphy and Goldie (Ruffin) Murphy.
He served his country proudly in the United States Army from 1967-1972 during the Vietnam War. Gino worked for the United States Postal Service. He was a professional student, always striving to learn, earning several degrees. An avid collected of movies, he had thousands of movies. He was a quiet and reserved person.

Mr. Muphy leaves his siblings, Kacy Murphy, of Charlotte, NC, Mosella Murphy, of Boston, Delores Murphy of Worcester, Lawrence Murphy, of Dorchester, and Susan Garrett, of Brockton; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late James Murphy, Betsy Overton, Betsy Murphy, Hattie M. Murphy, and Herman Murphy.

To honor Gino’s wishes, all funeral services will be private.
