IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Giovanna (Jenny/Joann)
Keith
October 22, 2021
Giovanna (Jenny/Joann) Keith passed away in Texas on October 22 2021. Jenny was the second daughter of Lucia and Allessandro Zeuli. She spent 75 years living in West Bridgewater, the hometown she loved. She was born there on February 18, 1931, married her husband Paul D Keith in 1950, and raised her 3 children there. Jenny moved to Arkansas to be near her daughter and lived there for 15 years where she spent time as a volunteer at the local hospital. In the last days of her life, Jenny was moved to Texas to be cared for by family. She had a loving and generous heart and was always available to lend a helping hand. Her favorite things were working in the garden, walking along the beach picking up shells, chatting with people and hugging babies.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and 2 siblings (Elenora (Ellie) Panos and Antone (Tony) Zeuli). She leaves behind daughters Paulette Gonyea, Pamela Catania, and son Howard Keith, their spouses Paul Gonyea, Joseph Catania and Pauline Keith, her grandchildren Kynna Sullivan, Heather White, Ian Catania, Paul Keith and Katelyn Duprey, and 8 Great Grandchildren.
Jennie loved her life on the farm as a child and carried the hard work ethic with her throughout her life. As her engineer brother once said “she should have been the engineer in the family” because she always used her innovative mind to find solutions to help her overcome a childhood injury which left her hand partially disabled. She never let anything stop her. She was independent, self-sufficient and thrifty: a true New Englander at heart.
She will be dearly missed by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
A celebration of life will be held in West Bridgewater Massachusetts in the spring of 2022.
In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations made in the name of Giovanna Keith to the Dementia Society of America by mail to PO BOX 600, Doylestown PA 18901 or online www.DementiaSociety .org/donate.
