Obituary

COX of Brockton, August 11, 2004. Gladys A. (Goff) Cox, 80 years. Wife of the late Sanford Cox. Mother of Donna Tillson and her husband William Flaherty and Diane Cox all of Brockton. Sister of George Goff and the late Howard and Larry Goff. Also survived by 4 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren. And many nieces and nephews all of Bridgewater.

Funeral Service in the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (Rte.123), BROCKTON, Friday at 7pm.

Visitation will be Friday 5-7pm. Cremation will follow.

Mrs. Cox died unexpectedly Wednesday morning at the Brockton Hospital. She was born, raised, and educated in Bridgewater and the daughter of the late Irving and Avis (Luther) Goff; and moved to Brockton in 1968. Gladys was well known and liked by her many friends at Trinity Village in Brockton where she lived for 20 years. She could often be found sitting under the tree outside her apartment or entertaining friends in the sunshine on the grounds at Trinity Village. She enjoyed watching TV, crossword puzzles and babysitting her great grandchildren. She also was a lifetime member of the DAV Brockton chapter #32.
