Edwards, of Brockton, October 13, 2005, Gladys O. (Young) Edwards, 89 years. Wife of the late Leroy Edwards, aunt of Hugh L. Vellos, Jr. and his wife Connie.

Funeral Service in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Wednesday at 10am. Visitation 9-10am prior to service. Burial in Melrose Cemetery.

Obituary Information

Gladys O. (Young) Edwards, 89 years, died unexpectedly Thursday at her home. Born and raised in Norfolk County, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Jackson and Grace (Elliott) Young, and wife of the late Leroy Edwards. She had been a longtime resident of Brockton and enjoyed sewing and crocheting.

She is survived by her nephew Hugh L. Vellos, Jr. and his wife Connie, of California, several other nieces and nephews, her sister in law Sylvia Young of Whitman and brother in law Hugh Vellos, Sr. of California.
