Chassey of Brockton, August 6, 2003, Gloria (Lee) Chassey, 77 years. Wife of the late Armand R. Chassey, Ret. BFD. Sister of Vincent Lee of Middleboro and Abigail Stevenson of Rockland.

Funeral Service in the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Friday at 10 am. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, W. Bridgewater. Visiting Hours Thursday 4-8 pm.

Obituary

Mrs. Chassey died Wednesday morning at the South Shore Nursing Home in Rockland after a period failing health. Born in Brockton, raised in Rockland, the daughter of the late David and Marion (Kennedy) Lee. Longtime resident of Brockton before moving to Orlando, Florida with her husband in 1983. She returned to live in Brockton after the death of her husband in 1991. For several years she was a buyer for local retail stores. During WW II she worked as a riveter at the Boston shipyard. Avid golfer and was a member of former Wedgewood Golf Course and also Brockton Country Club. She enjoyed decorating her home.

Survived by a brother, Vincent Lee of Middleboro and a sister, Abigail Stevenson of Rockland,several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and two great great nephews and godmother to many
