Pettinato of N. Falmouth, formerly of Brockton, November 26, 2005, Gloria M. (Petrone) Pettinato, 82 years. Wife of the late Joseph A. Pettinato, mother of the late Joseph A. Pettinato, Jr., grandmother of Suzanne M. Keeley of Whitman, Jonathan J. Pettinato of East Haven, VT and Nathan J. Pettinato of Berlin, MA, great grandmother of Jonathan, Jr., Matthew, Kathleen, Abagail and Lillian. Sister of Edith Vacca of N. Falmouth.

Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Thursday at 8 am. Funeral Mass in Christ the King Parish, Brockton at 9 am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery, Brockton. Visiting hours Wednesday 3-7 pm.

Obituary

Mrs. Pettinato died unexpectedly Saturday evening at Falmouth Hospital. Born and raised in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Angelina (Taglieri) Petrone. Attended Brockton schools and was a graduate of Brockton High School Class of 1942. She had been employed as a seamstress for many years and retired from Ace Sportsman in Brockton. She was a member of the Wednesday Morning Senior Bowling League in the Leary Family Amusement Center, Falmouth and while living in Brockton she had also belonged to a Bowling League. She was a former member of the Brockton Camera Club. Mrs. Pettinato had been a resident of Brockton until moving to N. Falmouth in 1979 and was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church in N. Falmouth. She was an avid gardener of flowers.

She is survived by three grandchildren, Suzanne M. Keeley of Whitman, Jonathan J. Pettinato of East Haven, VT and Nathan J. Pettinato of Berlin, MA. Five great grandchildren Jonathan, Jr., Matthew, Kathleen, Abagail and Lillian, a sister Edith Vacca of N. Falmouth and many nieces and nephews

She was the wife of the late Joseph A. Pettinato, retired Brockton firefighter and mother of the late Joseph A. Pettinato, Jr., sister of the late Marie Rogers and Julio Petrone
