Online Obituaries Gloria A. Pileggi, 88, of Brockton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 31, 2014. Gloria was married to the late Frank F. Pileggi for 55 years. Born in Brockton, daughter of the late Antonio and Alfonsina (Fiorini) Pozzuoli, she was a lifelong resident of the city. Gloria was a graduate of Brockton High School. For many years she was employed as a sales associate at Jordan Marsh before retiring. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Church. Gloria enjoyed taking long walks, and reading. She particularly enjoyed spending time with her family and taking family vacations. She is survived by her daughter, Judith A. Galante and husband Edward M. of Brockton, MA and West Palm Beach, FL; her grandsons, Attorney Edward M. Galante, Jr. of Boston, Professor Christopher F. Galante and wife Julie of Mansfield, and Brendan M. Galante and wife Rachael of Sanford, FL.; her great granddaughters, Meghan, Katelyn, and Quinn Galante; and nephew, Francis R. Connolly and wife Laurie of Loudon, NH. She was the sister of Frances McKenney, Evelyn Burchard, the late Rose Connolly and late Elena Biscoe, and sister in law of Dorothy Cappozzi and the late Rose DiMarzio. She also leaves several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Calling hours in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 3rd from 9:00AM-10:00AM thence to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 439 West St., Brockton where a funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of her soul at 10:30AM. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Brockton.
