Obituary

Gloria M. “Glo” (Texieira) Sinesi, 82, of Brockton died July 24, 2011 surrounded by her family at West Acres Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Sabino “Sam” Sinesi. Born and raised in Brockton, Gloria was the daughter of the late Manuel and Lillian (Handy) Texieira. She had been employed for 25 years as a school bus driver by Carey Bus Company and also worked for Superior Bakery and the City of Brockton in the City Clerks office. Gloria was a wonderful pastry cook, avid reader and enjoyed arts and crafts.

She is survived by her children Michael Sinesi, Cyndi Sinesi and her fiancé Dave Cushing all of Brockton, Beth Gledhill and her husband James of Hudson, Barry Sinesi of Kissimee, FL and James Sinesi and his fiancé Melissa of Weymouth; seven grandchildren Melissa and Scott Gledhill, Michael, Robbie, Samantha and Sarah Sinesi and Christina Benoit; a sister Ruth Murphy and cousin Madeline Pereira. She was the mother of the late Peter Sinesi and sister of the late Lawrence, Chester and George Handy.

A Graveside Service will be held Monday August 1, 2011, at 10am in Calvary Cemetery, 163 North Cary Street, Brockton, MA 02402.
