Obituary

Gordon R. Scully, Jr, age 75, of West Bridgewater, formerly of Brockton, died peacefully at his home on October 23, 2010. He was the loving and devoted husband of 50 years to the late Beverly (Pearson) Scully. Gordon was born in Brockton on August 7, 1935, son of the late Beatrice (Mutch) and Gordon R. Scully, Sr. He served in the Air Force from 1953-1956 and upon his discharge was employed by the City of Brockton for 30 years. He was an avid fan of the New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox.

Gordon is survived by his daughters Debbie Holcomb of Bridgewater and Lisa Pepsak of West Bridgewater and son John Scully of Brockton; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was the loving brother of Frances Noonan of W. Bridgewater, Ronald Scully of E. Bridgewater, and Joan Scully of Brockton. He was the father of the late Wayne A. Scully and brother of the late Robert Scully.

Funeral Service in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street, (Rte 123) Brockton, Thursday at 10am. Burial in Melrose Cemetery. Visiting Hours Wednesday 5-8pm.
